Jessica Au MD
Dr. Jessica Au is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician focused on the non-operative treatment of spine and musculoskeletal disorders. She is fellowship-trained to provide fluoroscopically-guided spine and joint injections to treat acute and chronic pain. Her approach to patient care is comprehensive, utilizing any combination of physical therapy, medication and/or injections as needed, with the overall goal to improve an individual’s quality of life and daily function.
Dr. Au earned her undergraduate degree at Williams College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she first developed an interest in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation—a medical specialty focused on managing the functional impairments that may result from neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell-Columbia. She received further training at the Orthopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas though an Interventional Spine Fellowship.
Dr. Au is an Associate Professor at Columbia University Medical Center in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. She is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
