Dr. Oliver Grover
Dr. Oliver Grover is one of the few dually licensed doctors in New York practicing both Chiropractic and Acupuncture. Dr. Grover takes a team-based approach to provide high-quality patient-centered care in multidisciplinary settings. He completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College, and pursued a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture. Afterward, Dr. Grover enrolled in Tri-State College of Acupuncture to master his trigger point release and dry needling techniques to compliment his manual chiropractic techniques.
He believes in an “east meets west” approach, coupling modern research-based treatment modalities with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through continued education, Dr. Grover supplements his passion and clinical experience in alternative medicine to traditional sports medicine and orthopedics to achieve a shortened recovery period. As a prior athlete, Dr. Grover has advanced knowledge of biomechanics and human anatomy. He is a firm believer in the body’s ability to heal itself however, he works with a team of experts to ensure consistent accurate diagnosis and plan of care.
Dr. Grover is a native of NYC and in his spare time he enjoys traveling the world, tasting new cuisines, and all things sports including skiing and fishing. Dr. Oliver continues to advance his studies with regular training in new techniques and being a curious patient constantly seeking out body work or acupuncture during his domestic & international travels. He is trained in the Japanese subspecialty known as a more gentle based approach to acupuncture known as Kiiko Style, and currently in the process of becoming certified in Chiropractic Sports Medicine.
